MMELO FORESTRY COMPANY LIMITED is a legal registered company with registration Number 155476044 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the Companies Act, 2002 registered on 14 th March 2022 to operate in Tanzania Mainland. MMELO FORESTRY CO. LTD was established in 2020 and incorporated in 2022 as a company limited by shares, allowing it to perform forestry farming, Marketing, Research ...and Development, Trainings, Supplies, Import and Export, Consultancy services, strategic/business planning, project write-up, and Monitoring and Evaluation Services and Logistics and Transport services in the industry of Forestry. The company Board of Directors which met once per quarter to evaluate financial position of the company.

Research & Development Service
One of the huge investments the company invested is in Research and Development based on forestry products Value Chain. The company has literate and experienced staff in forestry research issues include value chain research in Southern Highland Zone of Tanzania. The company conducts Research as consultant and as owner for its farming improvement. The company partners with other research institute to grow variety of tree seeds for production in various areas of the southern zone
Company Structure and Governance System
The Company has been added as a trade name and operates under the companies’ legal structure. The Board of Directors (BOD) acts as the policy and direction setting body. The BOD meets quarterly to review the company’s progress to the strategic plan, consider committee proposals, set direction, and make decisions. The Leadership Committee, made up of Director... and Officers, meet monthly to review financial performance, address routine decisions, create agendas, and check progress of key projects. Officers include Marketing officer, Extension officers, Treasurer, and Secretary are the part accountable for company management team for daily performance of the company activities.
